On Monday 25 June HME and Holland Marine House Brazil (HMHB) hosted a network event with an eminent Brazilian delegation at the Floating Pavilion in Rotterdam. In the past 10 years there have been numerous activities, like this economic mission and network event, to strengthen the relationship between the Netherlands and Brazil. This has created a better understanding, paving the way for maritime companies in both countries to do business together.
The occasion for the event was the incoming trade mission from Brazil, organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, Agentschap NL, HME, HMHB and the Dutch Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian delegation will visit 13 companies during their stay in the Netherlands. The objective of the trade mission is to strengthen the special relationship and close cooperation between the maritime industries of Brazil and the Netherlands.
